  • See what data we have about you, if any.

Affiliate Disclosure

Some posts on ThrivingLife.ca may contain affiliate links for which we receive a commission. We only promote products and services that we use and that have benefited us on our health and wellness journey. You do not pay a higher price when you purchase through an affiliate product (actually in some cases, I can get you a special rate). The more people shop through our affiliate links, the more we’ll be able to qualify for more affiliate programs (and hopefully good deals for readers!).

Our affiliations are summarized here, to learn more go to the Links section.

Thrive Life: Cathy and Melanie are a Silver Executive, Independent Consultant team with Thrive Life freeze dried foods. This is a referral based, social retail company.

Ruvi: Cathy and Melanie are an affiliate team with Ruvi, a company that makes freeze-dried fruit and veggie powder blends. It is a sister company to Thrive Life and uses the same top quality freeze drying technology and crop sourcing policies.

Q Sciences: As a Q Sciences ambassador Melanie earns a commission from qualifying purchases. Q Sciences offers clean, convenient, quality supplements that are activated and absorbable because of proprietary technology.

QuiltGiving.ca: As founding board members, Cathy and/or Melanie may receive appropriate remuneration for their work on behalf of the non-profit society, which includes creating and administering the QuiltGiving.ca website.

When you purchase through an affiliate link on our website, we do not receive or have access to purchasing information such as credit card numbers (partial or full). The security of this data falls under the company you made the purchase with. In some instances, affiliate portals allow us to see who has purchased through our link and what e-mail or mailing address they used to make the purchase. We may use this contact information to follow up with you about your order. However, subscribing to or purchasing from Thrive Life or any other affiliate of this blog does not mean you will be automatically subscribed to the ThrivingLife.ca newsletter. These contact lists remain separate.

Surveys & Contests

From time to time, our website or social media platforms may request information via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you may choose whether or not to participate and therefore disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and basic demographic information (such as postal code, age level). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.
