It might seem strange to call “love” one of the core values of our business; but I believe that work-life balance is at the heart of self-employment. Isn’t that the reason most of us start a business? So that we can spend more time doing what we love with the people that we love.
We never went looking for a home-based business, but when opportunity came knocking, we opened the door, and have never looked back with any regret. We love to eat, and we love to share food. Love is a vital part of our Thriving Life.
Integrity
I believe integrity is foundational to a Thriving Life. Working for someone else means putting your energy into their ideas of success, on their timeline. Working for yourself means you can put your energy into creating a business that is authentic to who you are and what you want out of life. You can define your own success, and not compromise yourself to get there. Integrity is about living in harmony with your values. I aim for everything on this blog to be Simple, Authentic, and Uplifting, because that is true to the choices I want to make for my own life. That makes ThrivingLife.ca an expression of my integrity.
